This is the first of 2 videos looking at formatting. Effective formatting will add a professional look to your spreadsheets. In this video learn how to modify text and add colours to your spreadsheet.

There are bunches of ways to get the sin city effect. This method is one of which we use a HSL (Hue, Saturation, Luma)keyer to key out the colors we dont want or the ones we do want. I will go over other methods to get this effect in color such as the saturation curves etc but in this lesson we do it using a common key. Again there are easier and harder methods. There are worse looking and better looking results depending on the method. Other methods will be covered soon.

Tutorial #5 shows how to do basic number formatting using the toolbar or menu options. The video also introduces the Format Painter and shows how to select non-adjacent cells.
